The smaller one is in carved ebony wood with a silver metal Jesus and is stamped FRANCE on the verso. The larger one has two attached brown blown brown melange Czech glass beads; the cross is hand carved tortoise shell, and the Jesus is in silver metal. Both have backs which fold over the four corners of the crosses that are made from a silver metal alloy of some kind, containing a nickel component. Both have intrinsic loops at the top.
