  • Set of original Art Deco furniture design project paintings and drawings from 1930 to 1940.
  • 3 drawings executed on tracing paper, 1 room arrangement painting, and a mounted group of 5 color renderings of individual occasional furniture pieces.
  • Individual details are below.
  • Created by the same Belgian Cabinetmaker Furniture Designer firm.
  • All original 1-of-a-kind works by the same person.
  • From the artist's atelier studio from the firm in Belgium.
  • 4 are signed ROSSATO.

  • Various mediums including watercolor, gouache, pen, pencil, on watercolor and tracing papers.

Furniture Presentation Composite Of Five Mounted To One Sheet:

  • One (1) large single sheet of presentation paper onto which has been glued five (5) different original smaller color paintings.
  • These five (5) individual paintings are highly detailed original designs for decorative Art Deco tables.
  • Each is unique, an original design painting different from the others.
  • MEDIUM: Watercolor, gouache, ink, graphite and pencil on paper.
  • These are not signed.

 

  • SIZES:
  • The single sheet measures overall approximately 43 cm x 32,5 cm // 16.8 inches x 12.75 inches.
  • Each of the individual paintings measure overall approximately 15 cm x 12 cm // 4.9 inches x 4.75 inches.

Art Deco Bedroom Armoire Cabinet:

  • One (1) original design drawing for an Art Deco bedroom armoire cabinet.
  • MEDIUM: Drawn in pencil on tracing paper.
  • Signed ROSSATO.
  • SIZE: This measures overall approximately 43.5 cm x 36 cm // 17.25 inches x 14.25 inches.

Art Deco Bedroom Set:

  • One (1) original design drawing for an Art Deco bedroom set and sleeping area.
  • MEDIUM: Watercolor, gouache paint, pen, ink and pencil.
  • On paper, glued down to a single sheet of cardboard as backing.
  • Signed ROSSATO.

 

  • SIZE:
  • This measures overall approximately 52 cm x 44.5 cm // 20.5 inches x 17.5 inches.
  • Sans margins, the painting only measures approximately 36 cm x 27 cm // 14.15 inches x 10.5 inches.

Art Deco Library Chair:

  • One (1) original design drawing for an Art Deco Library Chair.
  • In ink and pencil on tracing paper.
  • This has a tiny 1 cm margin edge tear located at approximately 3:00 o'clock.
  • Signed ROSSATO.
  • SIZE: This measures overall approximately 28 cm x 26 cm // 11 inches x 10.25 inches.

Art Deco Bed & Bookcase Sleep Bed Unit:

  • One (1) original design for an Art Deco elaborate bed and bookcase sleeping unit.
  • In pencil on tracing paper.
  • Signed ROSSATO.
  • SIZE: This measures overall approximately 30.5 cm x 28 cm // 11 inches x 12 inches.

 

Provenance Of The Works Offered By Us:

  • These paintings are from the artist's atelier studio from the firm in Belgium.

CONDITION:

  • By " antique " we mean over 100 years of age.
  • By " vintage " we mean between 50 and 100 years of age.
  • These paintings are made of matter and they are OLD; this means they are NOT NEW.
  • These are not modern reproductions, they are not recent copies, and they are not fakes..

There are signs of age or usage including but not limited to:

  • The chair drawing has a tiny 1 cm margin edge tear located at approximately 3:00 o'clock.
  • There are some minor pencil smudges.
  • There is overall surface wear.
  • There is some overall oxidation.
  • There is some corner and perimeter wear and wear around all edges.
  • There are tiny folds at corners, and some creasing of the edges, perimeters, and corners.
  • There are surface scratches.
  • There may be wrinkling or incidental edge folds of the paper
  • The paper may show some browning, freckling, toning, foxing.
  • Some have partial sketches and doodles by the artist on the verso (the reverse side).
  • Some have irregular edges.
  • All are irregularly sized.
  • Some have folded corners.
  • Some have random folds.
  • Some have bent corners.
  • In one case at least there are torn sides.
  • There are surface scratches.
  • CLEANED: No.
  • RESTORATION: No restoration.
  • MEASUREMENT VERIFIED: Yes.
  • There may also be something that we missed because we aren't specifically trained to see it.
  • We've not examined these microscopically.
  • We've not taken them apart or put them back together.
  • We've not subtracted anything nor added anything that was not already there.
  • We've not cleaned them.
  • The condition is good.
  • There's nothing functionally wrong with them.
  • The condition is exactly as shown in the gallery photos.
  • Look at all the gallery photos carefully and read this description carefully.
  • It is impossible to divine exactly what information a buyer might want.
